If you do not know your claim adjuster's name, you can get that information by calling the Penn-America Claims Department at (800) 788-4780 (9 - 5 ET Monday through Friday). It will be helpful if you have your claim number.
How can I obtain a copy of my policy?
Your retail insurance broker will have a copy of your policy.
How do I report a loss?
All losses should be reported to your retail insurance broker. If you do not know who your broker is, call the Penn-America Claims Department at (800) 788-4780 or (610) 660-8877 (9 - 5 ET Monday through Friday). You may also submit your claim electronically from the Submit a Claim page.
I don't know my claim number. How do I get it?
If you do not know your claim number, you can get that information by calling your retail insurance broker or the Penn-America Claims Department at (800) 788-4780 (9 - 5 ET Monday through Friday).
How do I know if you received my claim?
You can find out if we received your claim by calling the Penn-America Claims Department at (800) 788-4780 (9 - 5 ET Monday through Friday). It will be helpful if you have your claim number. In addition, an acknowledgement letter is mailed to you within five business days after receipt of a claim.
If I want to make a change to my policy, whom do I call?
All change requests should be directed to your retail insurance broker. If you do not know who your broker is, call the Penn-America Underwriting Department at (610) 664-1500 (9 - 5 ET Monday through Friday).
Why was my policy cancelled?
If you have questions as to why your policy was cancelled, call your retail insurance broker, or the Penn-America Underwriting Department at (610) 664-1500 (9 - 5 ET Monday through Friday).
Where should I mail my premium?
Your policy states the name and address to which your premium should be mailed. If you do not have a copy of your policy, call your retail insurance broker or the Penn-America Underwriting Department at (610) 664-1500 (9 - 5 ET Monday through Friday).
How do I obtain loss runs?
Due to the Privacy Protection required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the following information is necessary to enable us to comply with your request for loss runs.
- Requests may only be accepted from our Policyholder (Named Insured) or the Penn-America Group Producer of Record
- Please make the request on the letterhead of either the Policyholder (Named Insured) or the Producer of Record
- List the Named Insured, Policy Number and effective date of the policy on the request and the policy terms for which the loss runs are requested
- Please send your request via fax: 610.668.3774 to the attention of the Operations Department
- The loss runs will be mailed to the Policyholder (Named Insured) to the address shown on our policy or by fax to our Producer of Record
We will endeavor to respond to requests within 72 hours.
